I find that vintage dish towels are a sure fire way to brighten up and give your kitchen some character. Not only are they fun and unique, I also find that vintage dish towels tend to be better made than their modern counterparts (made in China anyone???). They seem to be superior at holding up through multiple washings and are more stain resistant since they’re generally made out of linen or sturdy cotton. Most importantly, I like vintage dish towels because they can be so darn cute, with embroidery and old timey designs, and they always put a smile on my face when I’m doing the dreaded dishes.
The best source for vintage dish towels is either your local flea or antique market or eBay. Now, what are you waiting for?
